1-2 Cottrell Afternoon

Although it didn't look all that promising on the morning of Tuesday February 19th, for a ridable Key West day. A couple of us decided to take a chance in the afternoon because it looked like the winds out of the North would pick up just enough for a little sunset session. Although skeptical, at the last minute we loaded up the boat with a couple of boards headed out and we were able to log our second rideable Key West surf day of 2008. Only two of us took the chance so unfortunately only that same number got to ride some fun ones. Keep checking back to see the next time we will attempt to get out there, and find out how you can join us.

We Need Your Help

As we attempt to build kwsurf.com we are looking for help with any pictures or video you may have of yourself or your buddies riding waves. And as we would love those pics and vid to be shot here in the keys, it doesn't have to. We will also have sections dedicated to Surf trips showing some of our favorite 2 day get-a-way spots up the Florida Coast, to longer trips to great spots all around the world. For more info or to submit your photos and video please contact chris@kwsurf.com.

Key West Surf website started

In an effort to try and get people out to the spots around Key West that occasionally break, along with documenting any possible KW surf sessions is why we are putting this site together. We need the help of anyone that wants to dust off the boards whenever possible. So we need the help of everyone with predicting where there will be ridable waves, try to get a network of people that want get out there, and consolidate resources to document as many people riding waves in Key West as possible. The site is being built, but we need the network of people to come out of the Key West woodworks to make it work, and definitely more to come...  email - chris@kwsurf.com to see how you can get involved.
